Our Journey
Where a passion for reptiles grew into a lifelong pursuit.
The Roots
Reptile keeping and breeding has always been shaped by shared experience. Long before digital tools, knowledge developed through careful observation, practical experience, insight passed from one keeper to another, and conversations at local gatherings.

The Global Shift
Over the past decades, the field has developed profoundly. What was once largely local and analog has become connected, digital, and global. Online platforms and social media now link keepers and breeders across continents. Tools and equipment have evolved from general-purpose solutions to purpose-built, species-specific systems, with an ever-expanding range of specialized products. Understanding of species-specific requirements has improved substantially, and many species that were once difficult to maintain and reproduce in captivity now thrive under well-defined conditions.

A Maturing Field
Control and monitoring have grown increasingly sophisticated and, in many cases, moved online. Environments can now be managed and adjusted through connected, technology-enabled systems. Breeding projects span years and generations, collections grow in scale and specialization, and progress is followed and discussed in global digital forums. As the field has matured, expectations around documentation, verification, and transparency have become more clearly defined. Yet the underlying spirit has remained consistent: people learning from one another, driven by curiosity and respect for the animals in their care.

Enter TruGenix
TruGenix emerged from within this context. It reflects a long familiarity with reptile keeping and breeding, alongside an awareness that preserving and verifying information becomes increasingly important as projects extend across time, animals, and borders. Rather than replacing existing practice, the platform provides a way to preserve it, consistently and over time.
